This past weekend I hosted a baby shower with my friend Teashia for our friend Stephanie (who blogs at Domestically Dobson).
It was my first baby shower, and was such a blast to put together. She's having a baby boy and they are naming him Cru (how adorable is that?!)
We went for a clothes line of onesies (because you can never have enough onesies) that we decorated with iron on cuteness.
But the best part of planning this shower was our theme for the menu. We decided to make it consist entirely of her cravings (which are pretty awesome for the record).
She had such a great selection of cravings that made for an interesting and hilarious menu. I think the best part was laying all those fun bits on crystal cake plates. It was definitely the most classy stack of McDonald's cheeseburger's I've ever seen.
What I wore: purple vintage 1960's dress, Comando tights and Gucci python platform heels.
We chatted and played some usual baby shower games and the mama to be got to open her presents (guessing her belly measurements and mad libs). We also acting goofy and took plenty of photographs with the props the girls used at my baby shower (which will definitely be passed on from party to party for a while).
What a blast. Can't wait for the next party to see all these pretty faces.
